The HydroForecast team is hitting the ground running in 2025 with exciting dashboard upgrades for faster, easier access to your data, plus industry conference appearances and much more.

What’s new

Expanded NOAA River Forecast Center benchmarks in the dashboard

🌊 We now show the NOAA California Nevada River Forecast Center (CNRFC) alongside our short-term and seasonal forecasts, making it easier to compare HydroForecast with other sources —helping you make informed decisions with confidence.

Here’s a snapshot from Folsom Lake in California, covering the early February atmospheric river event that hit Northern California and the Northwest U.S.

CSV forecast downloads delivered directly to your inbox

📩 Want a daily snapshot of your short-term forecasts delivered straight to your email? When you opt into forecast notifications, you’ll now get a bonus CSV file attached, making it easy to integrate HydroForecast data into your workflows.

Case study: CAISO customers earn more revenue per MW

💡 Better forecasts mean better financial outcomes. In California ISO (CAISO) markets, inaccurate streamflow predictions can lead to costly penalties. We compared HydroForecast with NOAA River Forecast Centers across multiple CAISO sites—and the results are clear: more accurate forecasts drive higher revenue and fewer penalties. Check out the results in our latest blog post.
