We’re excited to share that 50-cm imagery from Planet's SkySat constellation is now available in Lens! We’re proud to build on our partnership with Planet to offer the easiest-to-access, most affordable Planet SkySat archive you can find anywhere. This new offering includes new imagery captures as well as Planet's extensive archive of imagery.

Planet SkySat is a constellation of 21 high-resolution satellites that capture imagery worldwide at 0.5m resolution. It delivers highly accurate images that provide extremely detailed information in high resolution. Until now, SkySat imagery has only been available for tasking, and we’re excited to now offer the full archive to Lens customers to support conservation and environmental monitoring. SkySat imagery is available in Lens for 6 cents per acre and you only pay for what you need, with no minimums.

We're always expanding the sub-meter imagery options our customers can access through Lens. High resolution, high frequency imagery makes landscape changes easily visible, and combined with the monitoring and reporting tools in Lens, you and your team can easily access and utilize this imagery to avoid blind spots, anticipate new changes, and make more informed decisions.

For all current Lens users, SkySat imagery is processing in your Lens account and is available for order! As with all commercial images, be sure to preview images to ensure that the cloud cover, coloration, and exposure for the scene look good before ordering. If you’re not a current user, sign up and start ordering imagery today, or book some time with our team to learn more.
