By ensuring units in HydroForecast align with global standard units, we make it as easy as possible to interpret forecast data and make informed water management decisions.

We’re excited to introduce new unit customization options in the HydroForecast dashboard and API. These updates make it easier than ever to localize and integrate HydroForecast data into your workflows, so you can focus on decision-making instead of conversions.

Customize your forecast data with more unit options

Our unit options cover key forecast variables to support customer needs worldwide, including but not limited to the following options across streamflow, precipitation, and temperature data.

Streamflow forecast data 🚣

• Cubic feet per second (CFS) for flow, with seasonal volume measured in acre-feet
• Cubic meters per second (m³/s) with seasonal volume measured in m³ 
• Megaliters per day (ML/day)

Precipitation forecast data 🌧
