The latest addition to the Lens Library is a new overlay showing Electric Power Transmission Lines across the continental United States.
Whether you’re interested in monitoring right-of-way areas alongside transmission lines or curious how close your potential solar site is to a transmission corridor, this is the overlay for you. This dataset comes from the Homeland Infrastructure Foundation Level Database and was last updated this summer, so you can trust that the data you’re seeing in Lens is up-to-date. And with all public datasets, it's included for free with your Lens access subscription. We expect this dataset to be particularly helpful to utilities and other groups working on infrastructure projects in the U.S.
To get started with this overlay, head to our plans page, book a demo, or log right into your Lens account.
