Alden is Upstream Tech’s Chief Technical Officer and a co-founder of the company. After working at several software technology companies including Crashlytics, Twitter, and Drift, Alden co-founded Upstream Tech to apply advanced data analysis to our planet’s most pressing environmental challenges. Awarded Forbes 30 Under 30 in Energy, Alden focuses on large-scale data processing pipelines and machine learning to derive environmental measurements from satellite data and large geospatial datasets. Alden holds a BA in Computer Science from Tufts University. He is based in Syracuse, NY where he can often be found enjoying the outdoors with his dog.
