Blue, SWIR

This layer shows blue light as red, and two different short-wave infrared (SWIR) bands as green and blue. This band combination is valuable in distinguishing snow, ice, and clouds. Ice on the ground will be bright red in this layer, while snow will appear orange, and clouds will range from white to dark peach. This layer is derived from NASA/USGS Landsat 8 which has been capturing data since 2013.
