Upstream Tech is a technology company that creates decision-support technologies for conservation, agriculture, and low-carbon energy. We are looking for a backend engineer who wants to use their skills to fight climate change and protect the environment.
In this role, you will design and build services and systems that ingest and process new datasets, including geospatial data, extend internal and public-facing APIs, and build integrations with external systems. We’re looking for candidates with a track record of building infrastructure solutions that enable sustainable and extensible product growth.
This work is critical to the success of Upstream Tech and our continued commitment to our environmental mission. Our climate and conservation impact scales with our systems.
We are proud to offer great benefits like four weeks of paid vacation and good health, dental, vision, and life insurance plans. We want our team to live full lives outside of work.
Remote, in a US time zone. We conduct business using technologies like Slack and video conferencing. We host a biannual in-person trip to work, bond, and celebrate our successes.
If interested, please send a cover letter and your resume detailing your experience to email@example.com. We look forward to receiving application materials from enthusiastic candidates.
The application deadline is Monday, May 10, at 5 PM PT.
